In my quest to move into Storyboarding, i figured a good place to start is with some acting.

Development Work

This project didn't seem to get any traction and it's been a long while that i've been holding on to this. I think it's a good time to throw in a little bit of colored work here. This was part of a Moon Girl pitch, taking a stab of what our heroine's layer might look like.

Venture Bros. Se07 Rough Drawings to Final Art

 I want to share something a little bit different with this post. A lot of my work is polished and i forget that its good to show process on occasion. In my rough pass i make 95% of all my design decisions and address most notes so that the clean up process doesn't become bogged down. It takes a while to polish these things up, so the more locked down the shapes in rough stage, the better. This last image of a Frankenstein-like- table was actually a tight zoom of an establishing that i had previously done. The rough here is pretty chunky, but has everything the shot needs. I think i ended up removing the FG element as it was decided that it got in the way of staging the conversation between the two henchman manning the seats. Enjoy!

Pierce College Dance Company Shinannigans

My buddies in the wild from the Pierce College Dance company. That guy down low, his name is Julio. I used to get beer with him Monday nights at this Dive bar in the Valley. Good times.

Star Wars Fan Art?

Well, sort of Star Wars fan art. i wanted to create some Light Saber hilts with my new 3d printer and these are some sketches exploring that. I dance, sooooo, sometimes Danceers make it into my book randomly. I was also playing around with some 80's color marker action.

Resin Cast Possibillities

For a time, i was exploring resin castings of these Chubbified iconic cars. i still think it's worth exploring further some day. This is where i'm at with it so far... just some sketches waiting to see prototyping... eventually!

Italy

Occasionally i get the chance to sketch from life. something i should do much more often, but i shall definitely take what i can get, when i get it. These are from a 2016 trip.
